Hyundai Glovis will be supporting Asha in building toilets at two schools (Ramancheri and Puthukandigai) and repairing the toilets at 15 schools over the year of 2019.
Hyundai Glovis has been supporting Asha Chennai in improving the quality of education at 60 schools in Thiruvallur District. In 2017 Glovis also supported the construction of toilet at one school and the repair of toilets at 9 more schools. They had come forward to support more such work with school toilets. Asha gathered the information about the schools and came up with a list of 15 schools that need repair work on their toilets and two schools that need new toilets.

On Jan 18th Hyundai Glovis had a small function at their office to sign the MOU for supporting this effort. Rajaram and Sundaram Sir represented the Asha Chennai volunteers. Srinivasan, Muthu and two Asha teachers associated with Ramancheri, Seetha and Aishwarya attending the MOU signing function. Glovis was represented by the MD, Mr. Tae Jong Park, the CFO, COO and people from the CSR group. The CSR coordinator Mr. Arun coordinated the function. Mr. Ramana, the COO and the MD Mr. Tae Jong Park talked about their continued commitment to improving the schools and providing hygienic toilet facilities at all the schools. Rajaram talked about the work we did in 2017 as well as the work we will be undertaking this year.
The MOU document was signed by Mr. Tae Jong Park and Mr. Rajaram. These were exchanged along with bouquets. Asha teacher Mrs. Seetha Ezhilarasi gave the vote of Thanks. Finally the event finished with a high tea.
