Core Solution Inc. donated 12 computers to Asha to be given to deserving students. The computers were donated on 23rd Nov to students in desperate need of a computer because of the remote classes during these pandemic times.
Computer Distribution to Needy Students
Core Solutions Inc. in Greeta Tech Park, Perungudi wanted to donate 12 computers to financially weak students being supported by Asha. These are 3 to 4 years old computers with good configuration. They are all desktops with i3 processor, 8 GB RAM and either 500GB or 1TB disk. We added the necessary extras like UPS, internet hotspot, Wi-Fi dongle, speaker and camera.
Most Colleges and schools are conducting online classes as they are closed due to Covid. We decided to select College students, who don’t have a laptop or PC at present. Malliga spoke to College students who are receiving scholarships from Asha and identified 12 such students. On 23rd Nov they were invited to Office of Asha and the computers were handed over. Muthu explained to them how to handle them properly. The computers are being given on loan and the students have signed an undertaking that they will return the computers when they finish their education. Few photos of this event are enclosed.
