Asha held its annual conference from March 25th to 27th. Asha India held its conference at Pondicherry which US had its conference at Atlanta.

Asha decided to celebrate the completion of 30 years with a joint conference across India, US and Europe. Asha India conference was held at the Gandhiji School in Pondichery. Asha US held its conference in Atlanta and Asha Europe held its conference virtually. These were held from March 25th to March 27th. There were 3 hour overlapping sessions on the 26th and 27th where we had invited some guest speakers and also held some discussions on common items of importance to all of Asha.

On 26th we had a talk by Ms. Simantini Dhuru from Avehi Abacus and then a panel discussion with Mr. Arun and Ms. Poornima who run the Marutham Farm school. Here is a video recording of the session.

On 27th we had a talk by noted carnatic musician Mr. TM Krishna and Ms. Prema Rangachary who runs a school near Coimbatore Vidhya Vanam to serve the underprivileged tribals in the area. Ms. Prema Rangachary is also Mr. TM Krishna’s mother! Here is a video recording of the session.
