Auxohub ACE Assessment Report

An independent assessment by AuxoHub reveals how Asha’s ACE program is reshaping rural classrooms through technology.

Asha Chennai’s ACE (Asha Computer Education) program is revolutionizing rural education across Tamil Nadu. Once hesitant, government school teachers now confidently teach computer science—77% report increased self-belief and 84% use digital tools beyond the subject.

For students, ACE is a weekly highlight, building skills in typing, presentations, multimedia, teamwork, and problem-solving. Parents feel renewed pride, teachers gain recognition, and communities begin to dream bigger.

Implemented in 105 schools with a 100% completion rate, ACE proves that teacher-led digital change is possible—even in resource-constrained settings. We hope this serves as a model for any broader introduction of Computer Science education in government schools. As one teacher shared, “This is the first time I feel we are not being left behind.”

AuxoHub conducted an independent impact assessment study of the ACE program between Jan to March, 2025 covering 30 government school teachers, 5 Asha trainers, 10 school administrators, 40 students and 10 parents. You may read the complete report here.
