From the excess funds remaining from the 2017-18 budget Hyundai Glovis and Asha decided to put up small play areas are the schools at Gandhigram and Annanagar.

We decided to put up a slide and a jungle gym at both these schools. These were made of good quality Galvanised Iron and Stainless steel to last a good 5 years or more. On August 20th these were inaugurated at Gandhigram. Since Rubini the CSR coordinator, Bhaskar, Ahmed and Reuben three staff from Glovis were there for the materials distribution, we also had the inauguration of the play area on the same day.

After the setting up was completed on August 14th, the children werent allowed to use these as the concrete was still drying. After the inauguration, they will be free to use them as they please. They were very happy to have these in their school.
