AAsha for Education is a worldwide action group formed to catalyse socio-economic change in India through education of underprivileged children. ‘Asha’ means hope — the hope that we aim to bring into the lives of these children.
Asha-Chennai is a chapter of ‘Asha for Education’ based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is run entirely by a group of volunteers.
Join Us
Volunteers do all the operations of the chapter from identifying/supporting projects, developing software and contents, maintaining our accounts or our website etc.
We meet monthly at various voiunteers’ residence. Send us an email at chennai@ashanet.org if you are interested.
