Kitchen Sheds were constructed at Nemiliagaram and Kottaikulam, 2 schools supported by Gloivs Sangamam.. This work was taken up in May as there is no midday meal cooking during the holidays. The schools mostly cook out in the open. They cannot do that during the rains. This creates problems for the schools. The kitchen shed enables them to do the cooking outdoors even during rains. Further this will prevent leaves or something to fall into the food when cooking. Both these schools had adequate space next to their kitchen for this shed.
