On Oct 9th to Oct 13th : Eye Camp was conducted by Hyundai Glovis in partnership with Shankara Eye Hospital from Oct 9th to Oct 13th for children at all the 12 schools we support in Poondi Block of Thiruvallur District.

Hyundai Glovis in partnership with Shankara Eye Hospital, Pammal also organised eye camp for the children from all the 12 schools that they support at Poondi block. The children at all the 12 schools were evaluated over a period of 4 days from Oct 9th to Oct 13th. Doctors from the hospital came to schools in the morning every day and finished 2 schools before lunch and then one more school in the afternoon before heading back to Chennai. Some 10 to 15 children have been identified as needing glasses and a couple of children need to be taken to the hospital for further checkup. The glasses for the children as also being sponsored by Hyundai Glovis.
